Our rapeseed coconut wax blend comes in the form of small white pellets, they have a neutral scent.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch2\u003eWhat is rapeseed and coconut wax used for?\u003c\/h2\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRapeseed and coconut wax is a specially formulated blend, used as an alternative to paraffin wax, to make small container candles, tea lights and wax melts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eRapeseed and coconut wax provides great scent throw for fragrances and a long burning time in candles. This also makes it a great wax for wax melts as it lasts longer then regular paraffin wax melts.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWhen used in candle making, the wax should be heated to around 70°C (no higher than 90°C) to add fragrance and colours. It is recommended to pour the melted wax into the candle moulds at around 50°C, but this can also vary depending on the size of the mould.
